Schell Wheeler house accommodates both professional and practical demands, but it also fulfills a deep desire to do what is right. Base concept of this house is how made character of the two buildings complete the goal of sustainability: the complex is extremely livable within its environment. This sustainable house completed by a ground source heat pump, supplemented by solar water preheating supplies energy to the house. A green house with blow-down trees from storms provided the logs that were milled into siding, fascias and trim. This house has a strength of natural light entering free. With a minimalist furniture make this house look comfortable, and spacious. Use of natural colors reminiscent of a country house but modern atmosphere. Even on a grey and rainy day this forest retreat is filled with light.
