Cool Studying Room Design by AEQUO
A new year, a new image! The Culture Campus Vleuterweide has designed this really cool studying place created by AEQUO, a Dutch design studio and is located in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The Vleuterweide Campus “suffered” a tremendous make-over as its information plaza became a high tech culture space where students can catch up with the information they need. On this square, all users of the Campus and together they provide a common way information to users, and interested visitors. Aequo has designed a landscape in which all functions are united in an exciting and inspiring whole. The place was compared to a monastery, where each bench is equipped with state of the art technology. The scenery is a combination of integrated tables, seats, stools, lounges, information displays, presentation columns, discussion boards, brochure display, so on. However, the computers, magazines and other elements are very subtly integrated in the overall bench design. This is a character entrance of the Campus created where different users are jointly present. We are currently finalizing the implementation provided. The oak furniture is made from raw and finished with felt carpet cushion strips in various warm colors. So, would you like to study in a place like this?
